Yesterday, HTC sent out invites for its August 19 press event, where the company is anticipated to announce a Windows Phone running HTC One (M8).
The phone is rumored to launch on Verizon hinting at the phone's CDMA version. Fortunately, it is now clear that the phone will also be internationally released, too, as today it passed through GSM certification process with European LTE bands.
According to the GSM Global Certification Forum, the upcoming smartphone supports LTE bands 4 and 13 (Verizon), bands 3 and 7 (Europe) and band 4 (AT&T).
HTC's upcoming Windows Phone is expected to be a variation of the One (M8). As such, the phone should feature a Snapdragon 801 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD card slot and 5" full HD display.
