Google's new teaser video is all about the Pixel 7's design

About two days ago Google released a teaser video showcasing the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro's design from a lot of angles, and in all three colorways in which it will be offered. In case you were one to find it strange that the non-Pro Pixel 7 got ignored and didn't get the same sort of teaser video, well, today you've been vindicated.

That's because Google has just posted exactly the same style of video, only this time starring the smaller Pixel 7. Have a look:

Once again, we catch glimpses of all three colors, which in the case of the Pixel 7 are officially called Obsidian, Snow, and Lemongrass. As you may already know from the myriad teasers and leaks, the Pixel 7 has practically the same design as its larger sibling, the only difference aside from the size being that it has to work with one less camera on the back - in what we assume is a cost-cutting measure meant to ensure it can hit its rumored price point, which incidentally is rumored to be the same as for the Pixel 6 last year.

The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will finally become fully official at a special Google event on October 6. Rumor has it they will be extremely similar on the inside to their predecessors, with a new SoC and small other changes here and there, but nothing substantial.
